Our PTA is a very important part of our school and has recently become a registered charity. | ||||
|
It is a friendly fundraising group who meet approximately once a month. The Association is made up of parents and members of staff, although carers and grandparents are welcome to join to. Although it can be hard work, being a member of the PTA is rewarding, fun and can be a great way to meet other parents. | ||||
|
The aim of the PTA is to raise funds for the school to pay for equipment and projects for the benefit of all the children which would not otherwise be provided. Pictures of our events and purchases can be seen below. We also offer experiences for the children which are purely for fun. Events we organise include The Christmas Fair and Family Fun BBQ evening, Children's discos, cake bake sales, Mad March Hair Day and Quiz Nights. | ||||

We have recently been working on a project to provide an outdoor performance area for the children and to update the outdoor equipment and furniture. | ||||
|

| We have recently purchased a new noticeboard which is now proudly on display in the playground. |
The PTA organised a fundraising event for Red Nose Day, we asked everyone to come to school in their PJ's - doing something funny for money.

The children are enjoying our willow tunnel which they helped to plant. | |||

| We bought some new play equipment for Year 1 to enjoy in their classroom. | The PTA has purchased a School Team Kit for sporting events as well as T-shirts for the Speedstack Team. | The PTA financed the purchase of some new hand puppets for Year 2, and Year 4 received some new K'Nex equipment. | |||

| The PTA helped to set up for our Royal Wedding Street party, decorating the playground ready for the Royal Wedding lunch. | The PTA organise our Christmas Fair and Santa has an extra special grotto in the afternoon. | We organise Mad March Hair Day in aid of Comic Relief, which the children really enjoy. | |||
