We provide a number of enrichment opportunities for our pupils and offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities that run during lunchtime and after school hours. Through these activities, we encourage and enable our pupils to learn new skills, meet new friends and develop their confidence.

In addition to our wide range of clubs, we also organise visits, trips and workshops to support topics studied in class and which provide opportunity and inspiration for pupils to further develop their skills, knowledge and experience. For example, History off the Page visit and deliver full day hands on historical workshops, our KS2 children enjoy a multi-faith day visiting a cathedral, mosque and gurdwara. We also offer a residential trip to Hudnall Park for our oldest children to take part in a range of outside activities and adventures. Should you require financial support with any clubs, visits or trips please check the Economic Support section of the website or make an appointment to speak to the headteacher via admin@layston.herts.sch.uk. We are here to help.

To reserve your child’s place, please use the online booking system. Places are limited and we request that your child select a different club to the one they have already attended to enable other children the opportunity to attend.
